The Switch

As a T-Mobile customer, you can still log into your existing account with T-mobile on EE’s website. If you have just upgraded your phone or switched over to EE from T-mobile you will need to register your account online to view your account details, charges, and bills. You can register simply by heading to EE’s website.

My EE

My EE is the easy way to view your account details, recent bills and buy extra add-ons. This app means you can access all of your information on the go, wherever and whenever you need it.

You will be able to keep on top of your billing dates and information, see remaining allowances for that month, understand your usage and check your credit and much more.

If you are a T-Mobile user then you will need a different version of the My EE app on your phone. There is absolutely no change to the app using the different one, all the features are the same. Unlocking Your Phone

As with many phones bought on a contract, they are locked into the specific provider that you are using. This means the device will not work with any other provider unless it is unlocked. To unlock your T-Mobile device you need to have been in the contract with T-Mobile for at least 6 months before you are able to unlock it. Pay as you go customers can unlock the phone straight away after purchasing it.

There is a small unlocking fee of £8.99 (including VAT) for EE to unlock your phone. It can take up to 10 days for the phone to become unlocked but after that time, you will be able to use your device with any other service provider.

Billing Charges When going abroad

Pay Monthly

Before you head off on holiday or traveling it is a good idea to make sure that you will be able to use your phone abroad. To double check just text ROAMING to 150 before you head off. Alternatively, you can call using our T-Mobile Customer Service number on 0843 515 9093.

Roaming can take anywhere up to 24 hours to become active on your device so it’s important to get it set up around a week before you are leaving the country.

Pay-as-you-go

If you are pay-as-you-go the roaming should already be active on your device. All you need to do is check your credit to ensure you have enough while you are away.

How can I switch over to EE?
If you are a T-Mobile customer and you want to move over to EE then you need to check your upgrade date on your contract. You can do this by logging into My EE to view your upgrade date. If you are eligible for an upgrade then you will automatically change to EE.
